« back to classes page

Public speaking is a top fear for most people. But now and then we may be asked to give brief remarks at a birthday, wedding, employee last day party, a funeral, or a business or political schmooze event. We will discuss best practice tips including being brief, preparation, credibility vs authenticity, speaking notes, handling anxiety, ways to improve your delivery and speaking voice, argumentation, and the pros and cons of humor. Taught by Lloyd Lim, who worked in government, law & business, and who has taught a variety of subjects.
