Writer and film buff Lloyd Lim leads students in a Zoom viewing of five (5) modern action flicks. We will watch:
Jan 28: M.I: 2 (2000), an IMF agent (Tom Cruise) matches wits with a rogue agent over a biological weapon;
Feb 4: Die Another Day (2002) is James Bond’s (Pierce Brosnan) most “Anything Goes” adventure;
Feb 11: Taken (2008), the daughter of a retired covert operative (Liam Neeson) is kidnapped, bringing him out of retirement;
Feb 18: The Girl in the Spider’s Web (2019), an unusual woman (Claire Foy) is drawn into government intrigue linked to her dark childhood;
Feb 25: Fast Charlie (2023), a Florida mob fixer (Pierce Brosnan) goes after the people who messed with his crew.
March 4th will be an optional 6th course day with a bonus film (TBD)
