More and more recent films have come from collaborations by brothers, parents, or other family filmmakers. Many of them have been the box office and critical successes of their years, like those of the Coen brothers, the Farrellys, and Wachowskis, or, more esoteric, like those of the Coppola father and daughter. We will view several examples of each, and will engage in discussion of how we may (or may not) find such an idea as a “genetic creativity DNA,” like that of athletic ability, for example.
NOTE start date has been postponed two weeks to Feb 6.
