Writer and film buff Lloyd Lim leads students in a Zoom viewing of seven (7) sci-fi films, using five key concepts: the mad scientist; alien intruders; space exploration; time travel, and the end of a world.

(e) In Annihilation, a team led by a doctor investigates a strange distortion field;
(f) In Star Trek, Kirk and Spock encounter Romulans traveling through time;
(g) In Melancholia, a wedding is held for a woman with mental health issues as a planet approaches the Earth.
