Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth (Because I'm happy) Clap along if you know what happiness is to you (Because I'm happy) Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do .... --Pharrell Williams
This course aims to present what most people will consider to be "happy movies", those that have lighthearted, joyful content with minimal tension or drama, emphasizing humor, fun, or carefree moments. It prioritizes general cheerfulness and avoids heavy emotional drama. People may disagree whether a particular movie is a happy film. For example, although some critics describe Life is Beautiful (1997) as a "happy film", we will not be showing it. The films we will show include Amélie (2001), It Happened One Night (1934), My Cousin Vinny (1992), and A Night at the Opera (1935).
