The Soothing Forest: a focus on a mindful approach to the forest IN PERSON (July 15)

ID : 988

« back to classes page
We will walk into the forest—or perhaps to a beach—to find a quiet spot where we can relax in nature, connect with a small group of like-minded people, and take in the beauty of our surroundings. We'll begin by sitting in a circle and introducing ourselves. You're welcome to share something meaningful about yourself, but this is entirely voluntary. Next, we’ll sit quietly for about 15 minutes, simply sensing the world around us—the smells, the sounds, the feel of the wind, birdsong, rushing water or waves. Perhaps even the rocks beneath you, if you haven’t brought enough padding. While this is generally a quiet time, you’re free to comment if something strongly moves you.
