Osteo-Cise Bone Fitness is a class for anyone who has Osteoporosis or Osteopenia. It's also for anyone who wants to prevent bone loss. We will be doing deliberate, safe weight bearing exercise. We'll work out the muscles surrounding your bones to build strength using long resistance ribbon or tube bands. We'll build core strength to properly support the spine. We'll work on posture, balance and agility to prevent falls. You'll be standing, sitting and workin on the floor. If you absolutely can't get on the floor, I'll meet with you to provide accomodations. We use long, flat resistance bands or tube bands. Questions? Feel free to call the Instructor at 808-949-2161.
