Join this novice/beginning hiking class for an opportunity to unplug, slow down and connect with nature. In this class, we will explore a variety of trails on Oahu from ridges to valleys. We will go at a slow to moderate pace in order to enjoy the flowers, plants, trees and views along the trail. No prior hiking experience is needed for this class, although a basic level of physical fitness will help it be more enjoyable. Most hikes will usually take 3 to 4 hours. We will be hiking on trails that may be muddy, narrow, steep and slippery, so proper hiking gear is recommended and a gear list will be provided prior to the class.
